Since 2003, the Riverside Junior Woman’s Charity (RJWC) has awarded a scholarship to a female high school senior who has demonstrated an outstanding level of community service activity throughout her high school career, through scholarly, religious, fraternal, and civic service projects.
We are pleased to announce that this year's scholarship award will be $2,000.
The scholarship is open to female seniors who live in Cook County.
• Candidates who live in the District 208 attendance area are welcome to complete the scholarship application form available below.
• Candidates who are residents of Cook County, but live outside the D208 area, require one recommendation from an active, associate, or honorary member of RJWC in addition to submitting a completed scholarship application form. You can have as many referrals as you like.
The scholarship will be awarded based on the candidate’s participation in service projects, programs, and outreach activities that have a lasting, positive impact on others. This could be through programs at the applicant’s school, school organizations, school-sponsored activities, or through community groups such as civic, fraternal, religious, non-profit, or other local organizations.

The deadline for submission is March 15, 2025. Please pass this on to any deserving seniors that you know! We look forward to receiving their applications. Please contact us (Melanie & Julie, Co-Chairs) if you have any questions at scholarship@riversidejuniors.org.
